I got the news of his passing on Twitter, Underrated VA. My 1st Exposure to him was Chouji Suitengu in Speed Grapher when it used to air late night on IFC Channel in the late 00's. He also had a lead role in Gantz as Kei Kurono and did alot of Voice Directing for Sentai Filmwork licensed Anime.
Another VA named Jack Angel, who used to voice in alot of 80's and 90's stuff, most notably in the Classic Transformers series and movie passed away as well. And then there was Russell Roberts passing away awhile ago on his 91st Birthday, he was an Ocean Group VA that did Kagome's Grandpa in Inuyasha and Phyllo in .Hack//ROOTS.
I like how Kuro no Kiseki is gaining some traction online all because of a miner scene where Van and Aaron visits a Strip Club and People are fearing it's gonna get censored for it's eventual English Release.
Also ever heard of the Silver Case? It's Suda51's 1st game he made when he founded Grasshopper Entertainment. Suda51 is most known for the No More Heroes games, as well Moonlight Syndrome, Killer7, Killer is Dead, Shadows of the Damned, and Lollipop Chainsaw.
So Tales of Arise is coming out. It's about a Slave with Amnesia and an Exiled Noblewoman meeting and both end up joining a Rebel Force to fight back against Nobles who are drain the Astral Energy out of Slaves.
The Protagonist Alphen is voiced by Ray Chase in the English Audio. And also stars Erica Lindbeck as Shionne, Christine Marie Cabanos as Rinwell, and Bryce Papenbrook as Law. And these are the only confirmed English VAs so far since the Game's Credits did not credit the English VAs.
