Shaman King is getting a Remake, and Netflix just got the streaming right.
Most of the Japanese Cast from the Old Series from 2001 are reprising, save for the protagonist Yoh, who will be voiced by Yoko Hikasa instead of Yuko Sato. Due to Sato having long retired to focus on being a mom. The Remake is stated to be more faithful to the Manga compared to the old series. Seems to have been common for Manga Based Anime from the 90's and 00's to not follow how things went in the Manga since studios make Anime Adaptation to be secretly commericals to the Manga. Im hoping Project ARMS can get a proper remake one day, espcially considering one of the creator's past work, Spriggan is also getting an Netflix Anime.
Is there any Older/Retro series you wish get a Proper Remake?
Sky First Chapter is pretty much a prologue to the series. 2nd Chapter and The 3rd is where all the juicy parts are at. But yeah the game's are full of tons of cutscenes and dialogues. Probably the reason why these games take a few years to get officially translated (or fantraslated for Zero and Azure's case)
I have seen people of Twitch playing Genshin. Though most tend to favor the Japanese VAs. On Twitter, The English VA for Paimon, Corina Boettger was not really happy with people making Rule 34 of her character, and called people P**os. lol
