ok, I'm just gonna straight up say this is my FAVOURITE ANIME OF ALL TIME my eyes have never seen anything more beautiful, deep and so well thought out. when I watched season 1 I was in awe but season two is a whole different ball game. I did not watch the original nor the manga but it does not matter since you will still find out the same things. I do not think I have really watched an anime where each character has such a deep backstory which means anyone can be your favourite because nobody is shallow, everyone has something special about that which makes each episode amazing no matter who it is based on. Fruits Basket has a lot of twists that you could never see coming and they are not unnecessary but are useful to the plot. I do not know what else to say but what it just pls get ready for the most amazing plot, characters and ships.
