Greetings, curious one. Here are a few summarizing points about me as an anime and manga fan:
- I consider ratings to be somewhat relative, and not always indicative of enjoyment.
- Bad things can be fun. I can go through a bad show or manga if it has entertainment value. In that sense, I consider a terrible entertaining show to be a better time investment than a "mediocre" show that appears to be unappealing for some reason.
- I'm not particularly averse to any genre or type of setting. The same applies for character stereotypes or tropes.
- Old is gold, but at the same time it's important to acknowledge "modern classics".
- Discussing moe is all good, but despite the possible future changes in terminology, I don't think it applies to an entire work of fiction. Pretty much anything can be moe, but an anime or manga can not be inherently moe.
- Demographic groups do not indicate content. I don't expect shounen anime or manga to be about about a spiky haired boy setting out on an adventure, the same way I'm not surprised that a shoujo manga is not about an angsty teenager romance.
- I don't own a lot of anime and manga merchandise, despite being a passionate fan.

Thanks for the follow. Try DTBA club. We have fun. I will lof course watch all most anything. I started in the mid-80's. I'm not that much of chatty Cathy about things, but I do enjoy most things. I search for something new and refreshing all the time.
