Did you think Mirai Nikki was good? Do you think it's going to be a good watch? If one of these are true then please heed my words. This anime takes a massive runny diarrhea crap on your expectations. The diarrhea is so runny it's pouring over your expectations. And the worst part is: you don't even know it. It's a tragic trick. I'm at an impass, I don't know whether to continue to reject the movies and hate on them, or accept them and take them as a joke. The boy inside of me clings on the hope that they actually make a good movie, but I should probably just not indulge that hope. ANYWAYS. In one way this anime was kind of crap. But in another it was very enjoyable. I wouldn't go as far as to say this is a love it or hate it anime but it's definitely a either you like it, or you dislike it type of anime. I liked it. Gokudo is the scum of scums, but you like him. I don't know how but you find yourself both cheering for Gokudo and cursing his name, but both in an affectionate way. The animation isn't anything special to look at if I remember correctly. *Spoilers Alert* Bleach for me, is something special, it's what got me into anime 4 years ago, and what introduced me into so many others. I have rewatched epic moments like The Rescue arc or Ichigo vs. Grimmjow countless times. The arcs has fair stories, but when you're 14 and in love with cool characters and fighting you don't really care. First off, I recommend this anime to anyone who are just in the mood for shounen and don't want to get into something like Naruto or One Piece (though you should if you haven't). If you do like a thoroughly carried out anime that doesn't rush things at the expense of the story, then read and weep. You probably shouldn't watch. Scratch that, you DO NOT want to watch. Ao No Exorcist truly had the potential to be a very good anime. It feels like they just take for granted that Naruto being a worldwide known anime. They just think they can come up with anything, and trick tons of people into seeing the movie because it's a known franchise and they can exploit it. They need to stop making these shitty movies or they need to pull it together and create something worth being associated with the anime.
