This new season of Overlord is quite excellent I the political drama this show has turned into has Ainz into a bit of a dumb character with little intelligence personally and in terms of how he perceives himself in that there's really nothing he understands he always acts like he doesn’t understand what he’s doing or what other people’s motives are they are just using him as a plot device to explain things to the viewers. Skeleton Knight in Another World -
The skeleton knight story was quite satasifing; not only did the isekai's portrail not seem like an overblown repetition, but it actually shines with it nearly forgetting his history prior from the start. The characters backgrounds were never forced and everyone had growth except for the main character and his complete distance from explaining what exactly is his strengths and weaknesses, like in episode 6 Arc is defeated by Gleny mutiple times making it completely confusing when he could just withstand full hydra attacks later in episode 12.
