I remember when I first watched this back in like 2011. I thought it was the best romantic anime I had ever seen. But after trying to rewatch it this year, this is not the case anymore by a long shot. It's just full of so many anime tropes, the worst one being the dad, who's only trait is "Creepy Pervert". I'd be ok with with the tropes if Kashimashi told a good story, it doesn't.
