Hi everyone! My name is Railee and I'm an otaku (duh)! I love all kinds of anime especially cute romances and badass shonens! I have been an otaku since 2011, but it has truly been my passion since 2014. Ghibli films were my gateway, immediately followed by Sailor Moon, Fruits Basket, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. However, my otaku passion gateway was opened by Code Geass and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. 

I love all things anime and manga! Watching it, reading it, roleplaying it, and even cospleying when I get the chance! I also love collecting otaku merch or my very own mangas... although my collection is quite limited right now. Anything involving otaku culture fascinates me! I don't know much Japanese outside of song lyrics and typical weeb phrases, but it would be a dream to be able to watch anime unsubbed like a true Japanese Otaku! I also desire to have the true Japan experience! Sleeping over at a manga cafe and reading manga all night (not that I don't already do that at home...), visiting all the cool anime sites and museums, riding the pokemon railroad, visiting the Ghibli museum, and of course seeing with my own eyes the awesome work of Japan in Okinawa, Kyoto, Tokyo, Akihabara, and everywhere else! It's my dream to one day be a part of that world, and spreading my otaku passion wherever I go!

When I first watched anime back in 2011, I experienced something that no other thing has given to me. Eyes wide and heart pounding were my first experiences in the anime world. I remember being in jaw-dripping amazement. The storytelling, the pacing, the music, and the characters drew a part of my soul into their world with them. The experience was unforgettable. And it changed me forever. 

The work that goes into making these masterpieces is truly incredible! So much detail goes into the making of just one scene or character.. it's truly inspirational. Anime has that special glow to it.. that special something that just makes me go WOW! After my first experience of anime, I was literally awestruck, my hands even shaking a little. I honestly didn't know what to do with myself. I stared at the screen and for a long period of time, just trying to process what I just saw. I sat there in utter amazement, thinking just wow. For a while, I didn't know what to do.. so I dragged the play bar back to the beginning and rewatched it. And rewatched it. And rewatched it. That rush off emotions still exists today. That same passion is what guides my hearts' every beat.
There is true power and inspiration within the world of anime. Every time I would watch it, my place in the world would settle in and I knew I was in for some grand adventure... wherever it be to - be it romance, action, comedy... I knew it was where I belonged. And that is how anime became my passion.

As for me, I'm just your typical slice of life anime girl. I'm socially awkward and a huge fangirl. I love cutesy things, romance, and enjoying otaku culture. My other hobbies include cooking, gaming, drawing, writing, youtubing, and graphic design. I will compete in anything. Reguardless if it was even a competition. And reguardless if I have skills in it or not.
