ABOUT ME:

It is the year of oh lord, 2022 2023 I have been on Anime-Planet for over fourteen fifteen years. While I have written little here in many years, I am now 45 and still enjoy excellent animated series.

As for me, I have finally been employed full-time for the last several years as an SEO Content Copywriter. I write anywhere from 10 350 content product descriptions using keywords in a day or two or 4 1K articles disguised as how-to/resource articles that really just shill a company's product. It isn't very interesting; I get to work from home in my pajamas, I do not need to deal with customers or people, and it is everything I have ever wanted; thank you.

Except for the boring part. That part isn't fun.

Due to having to write every day, Mon-Fri, it is tough to write long review articles or anything that isn't just silly day-to-day things on my blog. So please forgive me for the long absence and no reviews. Someday, I hope to be able to rouse my energy enough to give short, succinct reviews and get back to watching. But it is probably not this day.

I am a mother to six seven cats, four birds, one dog, one mother-in-law, and one partner (husband.) I like shiny things, fanfics, coffee, and cozy and casual games. Hi.

Please give me your recs; thanks.

Hello. Thanks for responding.

I completely understand about being too wiped to write. Especially since writing for your paycheck can be stressful.

If you ever have the time to start watching again, these are my top favorites:

Violet Evergarden ( Drama, steampunk, Melancholy. I'm not much of a cryer, but this made me cry like a baby.)

Bungo Stray Dogs (Action, comedy, Detectives, Superpowers, and just plain stupid)

Another (Slow-paced horror/psychological, supernatural. PG-18)

Your Name (Science fiction romance, body Swapping)

Bubble (A cute Fantasy romance with a parkour theme and amazing visuals.)

Hakuoki: Season 1 & 2. (Samurai, Historical romance, dark fantasy, war, Shinsengumi, Reverse Harem, Tragedy.)

Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun (Dark fantasy, cute, psychological, ghost stories.)

Fanfare of Adolescence (Drama, sports, Horse Racing, School life. Great character developments.)

Noragami (Action, Comedy, Ghosts, Japanese Methology, romance)

This might be too many. (~ ̄▽ ̄)~

Hello there , Sothis, the site's creator, is redesigning the anime-planet site, and plans to roll out an awesome new site design in July, we believe. The blog feature is not part of the new design, and it is going away.  More information about this here:  Announcement: the blog feature is being deprecated topic link. Be sure to check out the new site design when it comes up!

\r\n

The blog pages are going away, and will be gone when the site redesign goes live. Your blog here will be removed from the site.

\r\n

So, if want to keep the information posted in your blog, you will need to copy this information someplace else on the site or someplace not connected to the site; such as an external blog. If you have any questions how or where to do this, please feel free to ask me, and I will try to assist.

I also enjoy art in all its many forms, and I try to produce art that is worthwhile. I thoroughly enjoyed your profile. It is straight foward and brutally honest.  I could use more of a backbone, myself.  In my opinion, you have good taste. It seems that, like me, you don't waste time on series' that aren't worth your time.  I also tend to give a series three episodes to prove itself-- maybe more if people tell me it will live up to its potential. In the past, I wasted too much time on series', hoping for a redeeming spark, but got nothing in return.  I love your avatar and signature.  I am watching Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo.  I have been drawn to the story and unique art since episode one.  If it keeps true to the story from the  start to finish, I'm certain it will become one of my favorites.
