You are very right about the animation in general being avarage, but what I love most about the animation is the black and white scenes that add so much drama.
Even though everything isn't nearly as optimal as it could be, I think the timing of everything is perfect and I haven't seen the use of dramatical black/white scenes as in baka to test, in any other anime. So i love it most for it's originality
About how many more reviews do you have left to add from AniDB over here, and improve them? Noticed you're near the N's now.
Also keep it up. It's a nice change of pace from the non-critical 3 sentence "reviews". I'd rather read these than a bunch of those so called "reviews".
I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your system of rating anime. I think it's great how you break down each section into it's components and rate them individually, which explains a lot better than "oh lol 8.5/10 because of awesome".
I guess me and you are just fundamentally different in our mindset then, to each their own, but out of curiousity what shows would you consider to be in the 10% that aren't mediocre?
