Not the worst thing I've seen but distantly far from the best.  Art style is pretty bland but workable.  I've already seen 100 other anime drawn just like this.  It's not that it's bad, its just cookie cutter in that regard.  The action scenes are well animated, so that's a plus. Must see for Violet Evergarden fans.  If you're reading this and haven't seen the anime, stop reading and go watch the anime.  The movie will be ruined if you don't watch that first! Embrace the nonsensical story and relationships that is Tokyo Revengers. The super ultra major flaw of this anime is how unrelatable EVERYONE is.  Their actions, relationships, thoughts and emotions generally don't make sense given the situation and characters.  I kept laughing at scenes that we're clearly not meant be funny but that's part of its charm too. I'm confused why this title is on this website.  In order for something to be an anime... it needs to be animated. :) It looks nice, voice acting is top shelf, short and sweet and its funny as hell. However, many of the jokes have a physical component to them that would of been enhanced by animation. Its a shame this didn't get a larger budget. If I wanted to read a manga... i would of bought the manga...

New Game!, good enough to finish the first season but unrelatable enough to ignore the second. New Game does have it's moments
It does feature specializations in the field and presents some real world scenerios for people in crunch time.
Mentor/Senior relationship is definitly a thing but there was a lot of creative liberty taken there.  They get a pass here cause it'd be boring otherwise.
Pride for one's work is sprinkled throughout.

I don't even know how to rate this because technically it should be a 0 or 10 but not 1-9.  It can only be the best or the worst as it would of been the only anime in 1907.  So it would of been up to the viewer to reject japanese animation as a whole or be excited for the future.  Of course.... this is 2020 and I have my answer.

I would recommend this to anyone who's curious about the beginnings of anime.  It's only 5 seconds long and is quite easy to find.

Funny as hell, would watch again.  If you're an engllish speaker,  I do recommend watching this one dubbed.  the dubbing is fantastic. It should be pretty apparent after the first episode weather you're going to like this anime.  The story hardly exists and frankly doesn't matter.  When it comes to the genre comedy, that's par for the course.  This is super light hearted with zero heavy topics (except for dumbbells). If you're planning on watching Tokyo Ghoul:Re then you really should watch both OVAs first. As truly absurd as Chie HORI (the photographer) is as a character, it explains an otherwise unbelievable scene in Re. The Gourmet gets mountains of love which I love.  The sauce boss finally gets rounded out. Meh, I'm not publishing this...  I'll just leave it for people who visit my profile.

A must watch if you enjoyed both Blade Runners.  It's on crunchy roll so there's really no barrier to watching this legally.  I understand that this takes place before the second movie but I recommend watching it after seeing both movies.  There's enough in the second movie to stand on it's own without the support of this short.  Not to mention going from live action to anime then back to live action would be a bit jarring.

Overall A.IC.O Incarnation wasn't terrible by any stretch of the imagination.  I would recommend this to someone who has a Netflix account and also suffers from a medical condition called boredom. And only if you're kinda desperate for something to watch. This is one of the best animes I've seen.  It has a lot of uniqueness that future anime will probably try to replicate. A word of warning though, "Made in Abyss" looks deceptively childish.  IMO, there is a ton of messed up concepts contained in this anime that a 12-year-old shouldn't have bouncing around in their head.  You might have watched the first few with your kids thinking, "it's a little on the edge but I think they can handle it".  Watch episode 10 or just read the dialogue of episode 6/7... I docked its rating due to the initial length.  Keyword being >>>initial<<<.  This is for all the folks who thought this show was canceled. Netflix gave the green light for an additional eight episodes which means we get more Castlevania! 
 
The premise is good and due to anime-planet tagging this puppy with "Revenge",  One can almost guess what's going to happen within the first few minutes.

Tanya is a young blonde haired sociopathic soldier in an army very similar to Germany during WW1/2.  She is cold, calculating, intelligent, faithless and unempathetic.  Tanya the Evil is a breath a fresh air for those that are sick of anime with 100 billion main characters.  There's really only one main character in this anime... and it's Tanya. If you're a Berserk fan and complaining about Berserk's animation.... you probably didn't see the original Berserk or at least forgot what it was a like.  It was essentially a really well made powerpoint (and you loved every slide of it).

I really enjoyed reading the other reviews whining about how this didn't have a story/plot.  So let me get this straight. The episodes are 4 minutes long... It's named Bikini Warriors... Did you not see the tits that ignored gravity on the cover or the fist 10 seconds of the anime? What the hell did you expect?   I just imagine these people watching porn and focusing on the plumber bringing the wrong wrench. This is 100% ecchi and it did that pretty well.

Plot and Characters I loved Revy in this, Same cold stare and with that zero f's attitude she keeps in her pocket. Figured I'd brush up on some of the DBZ movies since DB super is coming out.  Read this article about how awesome Broly was as a Villian. TBH,  I don't know wtf they were watching because this guy has a one word vocabulary. He just grunts and says "kakarot".  The action was lame and the storyline blew.  I guess my expetation weren't all that high considering this *is* an anime movie. I watched 415 episodes of this before I finally gave up on it.   Have you ever played poker?  Well I went all in on this and lost my shirt.  It's worth mentioning that this isn't a terrible anime if you avoid the filler.  I'd recommend going online and viewing which episodes are the filler and just skipping them as they add literally nothing. This anime is an epic work of art.  Everything about how this is drawn and animated is just amazing.  The figurative story requires critical thought and you take away as much as you put in.  I wish there were more people that appreciate how truly awesome this is.  With that being said,  I can understand if you don't like it.  It's absurdly crude. Even though I rated this pretty low when it came to story, the story is actually what drew me in...at first. It was a fairly unique and truly absurd which is right up my ally. They have a plethora of characters with a broad range of personalities. There's also an unknown dynamic with the school itself which they elude to several times throughout the anime. Claymore is overall a pretty mediocre anime. The main characters are fairly weak and annoying while the side characters are far more interesting. The little boy in this anime whines all the time and doesn't stop even after you turn the TV off. Then you go to the bar... Get drunk and the voices go away. I would compare the ending of this anime to an uncooked steak. It's bloody and not well done. The steak was obviously rushed and not what what was ordered. This anime had SO MUCH potential and it was entertaining for a while.  When this anime first started out, the characters were interesting, unique, and seemed to have serious potential for an amazing story line.  Something that tugs at my short curlies is when an anime starts out really twisted which akame ga kill nailed.  However, the rest of the anime wasn't like that at all.... This particular movie is actually one of the worst anime I've ever seen when it comes to connecting dots. It's one of the few anime that makes literally no sense at all. What's even more interesting is that this anime actually starts out as a super awesome movie... for about 15 minutes. This is one of the best drawn anime I've ever seen in my life.
