Things like animating the hands playing the piano, such a thing only happened when it was a climactic performance and tbh the atmosphere was often ruined when someone was playing but the hands didnt move. Thats not to say the animation was bad but certain anime like No game no life or kuroko no basket do it better in my opinion. So its not at all bad just not the best.
