Hello! UbiquitousConundrum here! I happened to read your review for Bleach out of curiosity after reading the one about nagato yuki chan, and I gotta say, you don't need to binge watch +100 episode series like that If your even the slightest bit hesitant. With an exception to One Piece and some other titles I have yet to know about, most shows with over 100 episodes only go for so much out of viewer demand; Fairy Tail was only scheduled to have 42 episodes, but due to its hype and merchandising, its now crossing the +100 episode boundrary. I've yet to watch a single episode of Dragon Ball, Naruto and the like, but if there's anything I know from the fans of those shows, especially at school, it's that they either grew up with them or got introduced to it by their friends, which I can't really blame them for.

Trust me man, there's some great non-filler multi-episode shows out there, like Monster (74) Great Teacher Onizuka (37) and Legend of the Galactic Heroes (110). Also, you can try checking out titles from the Iyashikei (anime equivalent of soothing music and ocean sounds) genre if ever looking for a break from serious shows. Great examples from that genre are Mushi-shi, Bartender and Aria the Animation.

Here's a toast to the future of 2D! Oorah!
