Hello visitor! ¿Qué tal?

Oh how wonderful it is to 'meet' you!

Welcome to my page, as there is not much to see here feel free to read this drivel that I have spewed forth from my keyboard.

I'm just some Brit living in the good ol' south of England; I can see the sea from here, but not really. I have been watching anime as of September 2014 which still makes me fairly new to anime, but I have seen a fair few shows since I started. Even so, there are still so many shows I need to watch (about ten thousand or so).

Why did I start watching anime I hear you not asking me? Due to the increasing frequency at which I started to notice it, not to mention some of my friends had been watching a bit already, I decided to have a look myself. I started with Kill la Kill, the show I had heard of most recently at the time, and that basically plunged me into all things Japanese media.

I have delved into manga a bit too, only barely brushed the surface though. I have liked a lot of what I have read so far, some stand out examples being Sasameki Koto which I found to be a wonderful read, and Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaete mo Omaera ga Warui! that I had started due to having thouroughly enjoyed the anime. I'll expand my manga horizons in due time, I have quite a few things to read that I like the look of.

I joined the Anime Planet chat in April of 2015 and was appointed a moderator in August of that same year.

Favourite anime: I have a fair few, in fact I have lists for these sorts of things. Obviously Kill la Kill is one of them:

How I rate: My ratings are a simple representation of my overall enjoyment of an anime or manga.

I set 5/10 or 2.5 stars as the 'neither good nor bad' rating, just mediocre. Generally speaking, shows I would recommend are going to have a rating of at least 7/10 (3.5 stars). It goes without saying, yet I am still going to type it out, that the higher the rating the more I'd recommend the anime or manga in question.

Because I was bored I calculated my average rating. I found it to be 5.85 (to 3 significant figures) at the time I had 601 things rated. That's going to change obviously so I'll just say that my average rating is 6/10 (3 stars) approximately. Let me say that a 6/10 is still a 'good' rating, it's just where my average sits.

Some interesting facts about me: None, har har!

I don't really know what would qualify as 'interesting' but if you want to chat then feel free to leave a comment. Some basic stuff: I live in England, I am a student, some other thing that I forgot, I play games on the ol' pc, and finally I watch stuff like anime which goes without saying since I made an account on this site in the first place.

Anyway that's enough from me. Thanks for reading all my nonsense.

Hi! I was wondering if I could join the Daily Anime Marathon Club.

Hi!  Long time no see!  You've been on hiatus a while. *sad*

WECO's doing well, and the site is getting lots of new members.  Summertime's coming up and the team could sure use more help.  So I'm wondering if you have time in your schedule at this time to reactivate again as an active Greeter?  WECO misses you!  You don't have to do a lot - even if you only come back one day a week (10 names takes less than 5 minutes time to greet!)  Please consider it!

If you can't do it at this time, that's fine.  But I thought there'd be no harm in asking, just in case you can.  Cause it would be so helpful to have more Greeters helping out these days.

Either way, I'd love to hear from you again and catch up on your current situation.  Please drop me a comment letting me know how things are going for you and what you've been doing. *smile*
