The anime absolutely did not deserve all the bad reviews. Yeah, the age gap thing is weird. But if you've been a BL fan for a while you learn to take what you can get. I went in expecting absolute shit from the reviews and it way exceeded my expectations. Great anime, I love the artstyle, the songs are catchy, the characters are relatable and likeable. It's pretty dang good for a high school romance.

And - slight spoilers ahead - people were saying the ending was underwhelming. Just because there wasn't a ton of drama doesn't make it boring. It's a wonderful story,
