strong female protagonists (manga)

Hey guys, As you can see my list is based on strong female protagonists, though my definition of 'strong' varies. -Some of the girls are not only mentally strong,but also physically. -Some have a very strong will and won't let themselves be stopped by others. so it depends on the definition. I think what they all have in common, is that they don't match the often used stereotype of females in shoujo mangas. Allthough not every manga of my list might fit your taste, I'm sure you find what you're searching for anyway :) I decided to add a quick note to each manga, briefly describing the female protagonist.

i recommend you add claymore, red river (Anatolia), or basara (though the main characterbecomes badass over time in the last 2) they are some of my personal favourite strong female protagonist manga :D i'll try some of the rest of this list myself.
