I watched this on a whim and ended up finishing it in one night. It really was a great watch, and different from anime I typically choose. There were many moments that made me laugh, as well as get emotional and teary eyed. "It takes a village to raise a child" is a quote that came to mind whilst watching the show. It was nice to see the community and his neighbors come together to give Kotoro a new way of handling certain situations and problems. Kotoro is definitely an interesting character to be only 5 years old, but his personality has so much depth that is brought out constantly by other characters within the show.

Would definitely recommend for a quick watch.
