Diamond is Unbreakable is an interesting murder mystery shounen mix that's very reminiscent of Persona 4. The story overall is pretty good in its execution of the premise, especially in the second half. However, it had a tendency to drag with what felt like (and probably were) filler episodes with ultimately forgettable enemies/characters. In the end, the second half mostly made up for all of the wasted time with a glorious villain that really brought that Serial Killer Creep ambience into every scene he was in. That leads us into the Characters section of this review. The main trio was very solid in... See full review
I started this anime having only read a few summaries and reviews on it. The tags seemed pretty cool so I thought 'Why not?'. This anime was...I have no words. The feels I got during this were destructive. Story: It was good, maybe even excellent. It would've been 10/10 had it not been for a few things. it started off all slice of lifeish, nothing much but then we got backstory and plot. All of that was cool and paced and we got a taste of how the characters got to be. But episode 6 was kinda rushed. I mean, there were no signs of anything leading up to these events and it was all compacted together... See full review
When is first found out about this anime, it was from recommendations for Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It exceeded my expectations in most parts but let me down on minor parts. Let's start with the story, it was very good and complex . At first it seems like your runoffthemill magical girl story where a girl is goven a special thing that unlocks her potential, etc. But this one has a twist . Besides all of the battles, the story has some drama with a girl who loves her brother a bit too much and a girl who ends up being screwed over by her own wish. Definitely dramatic and the you can see how each character... See full review
This anime has been very surprising to say the least. The plot was amazing along with the charaters and their roles. This is not your typical Sailor Moon, in fact, this is what would happen if Sailor Moon were more realistic. First, the story "I wanna fight for justice!"-said no one. This show takes the ideals of love and justice, and rips it into little pieces before spitting on it. Everyone is fighting for their own 'selfish' reasons. When becoming a magical girl, everyone gets one wish. Sounds awesome right? Actually it's not, because the cost of the wish is more than it's worth for the most... See full review
The plot Was okay but the fanservice was out of place. It was like: plot.fanservice.plot. If there's going to be fanservice,at least try to incorporate it into the plot. The current filler arc mainly lowered the score. The plot had so much potential but it was used the wrong way. Some things were funny. The things that further lowered the score was the fact that they re-used scenes and the opening. Also, the pacing on one particular episode was VERY slow. I might be going on hiatus until the filler arc is done. The animation was good...for the first few episodes. After a few, it's like the... See full review
