Verdict:

(Maybe) Watch it if you don't mind used up tropes and market tested toy commercials.

Story:

The story/premise had potential. Sadly it got brutally butchered to promote really cheap looking plastic toys. The baddies are mostly monster of the week and even if they are reoccuring they just feel like a stepping stone to the heroes. The villains are typically evil: some weak henchmen and the boss who is shrouded in darkness giving them commands. One mysterious enemy/actual rival/alleged hot guy included. The story is not offensively bad, but everything that may have been good was killed by some bord member before they even started production.

Animation/Design:

It's standard. Fluid movement, nothing fancy in the animation department. The design looks like a modern Yu-Gi-Oh show, which is not a compliment.

Sound/Voices/Music:

Perfectly mediocre. Voices all sound like any other Shounen show, the music is fitting but forgetable and the sound design is loud. Everything perfectly designed to give kids the impression of awesome action.

Characters:

The characters are coming from a market tested blender that has been filled with modern Shounen tropes. Hot-headed main character, brooding rival, cute girls, some scientists to provide the heroes with more gear and so on. Once again, nothing offensive, except that they are offensively predictable.

Overall:

If you don't have seen many Shounen-shows or don't mind cynical cash-grabs, toy commercials or cheap tropes you'll be able to have fun with this. If you want anything that surprises you, better skip it. It's perfectly enjoyable for little kids, though, and anyone that don't mind to waste their time.
