I've Always Liked You

Apr 25, 2020

Story Nothing special.  Just a basic generic love story.  I found myself liking it at first, since it was a break from all the complex animes and mangas.  Refreshing high school romance i guess.  Not a drama in my perspective though.  Its not the best or anything, i was bored of the simple romance halfway through but forced myself to continue.  While it is simple and prehaps a bit heart warming, it isn't anywhere near the best or anything.    Very predictable. It is part of a franchise (is that the correct term?) that consist of two movies, including this... See full review

High Speed! -Free! Starting Days-

Mar 11, 2020

Ahh, i love this movie so much. One of my favourite out of the whole Free! series. Smol Spoilers so read at your own riskkk The Story This movie is basically when the main character (Haru) and his friend, (Makoto) went to Middle school.  This story was so innocent (?) and cute.  I was honestly really glad that they made a whole movie about the past of the characters.   Even though the story was very heartwarming and stuff it did explore some problems the characters were dealing with in an amazing manner, such as Makoto trying to change himself, Asashi's sudden loss of... Ni no Kuni

Feb 16, 2020

So in case any of you guys want to watch this, it is available on Netflix.  This review may contain some spoilers but overall, there isn't much risk reading this.  Anyways... Story So i heard that this anime movie was originally a video game.  The concept and idea is actually really good. So basically there are two highschoolers, Yuu and Haru.  Haru has this girlfriend, Kotona, who is also great friends with Yuu.  Kotona gets involved in an accident, then somehow Yuu and Haru stumble on a magical parellel world, much like their own, and guess what that world is called? NINOKUNI... See full review

Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

Dec 9, 2019

Spoilers so BEWARE AND READ AT YOUR OWN RISK The story If we don't look at how amazingly well executed it was and just focus on the idea and actual plot, you will find how unique it is.  It's not everyday you find an anime like this one.  One of the reasons why i really loved this anime was because itt had one of my favourite themes in it: best friends who slowly drifted apart due to a situation that wasn't anyone's fault.  Of course, you could argue how it was his or her fault but the story itself doesn't really blame anyone that much.  The super peace busters were presented so... Hotarubi no Mori e

Dec 2, 2019

If you are too lazy to read through the whole review, then the summary is YOU SHOULD WATCH IT, ITS WORTH IT. Without spoiling too much, the story is a short, simple and sweet tale of a girl who meets a forest spirit.  Their friendship is so heartwarming and pure.  This anime movie is around 40 minutes but these 40 minutes of my life was not wasted.  I actually watched an AMV of this and i was already crying (The AMV is here but there is a spoiler in it so watch it after the movie).  When i watched the movie, my poor heart...
