Tales of Demons and Gods

May 13, 2021

How Opinions can change. I remeber loving this story (and the light novel too) about 2-3 years ago. Now I revisit it and what do I find? Hot garbage (ok, that's an exaggeration (edit after revisting this review, maybe it's not that much of an exageration)...  The Artstyle is still pretty neat and well put together, but this this doesn't make the characters any more interesting. They are as bland as it gets and so incredibly boring and repetive. The worldbuilding is still decent, but with a story so repetetive and increasingly dull this only helps to an extent.  Maybe instead of talking in... See full review

The Knight and Her Emperor

Oct 25, 2020

This Story is heavily Character driven and the plot is slightly secondary, so this is something to keep in mind. That beeing said: The characters are truly enjoyable and have a realistic wackiness. What I as well truly loved about this story is the uniqueness of the Main Character and her perfectly odd personalty. She doesn't fit in a romance story at all and this is what makes it beautiful. She also doesn't back down but is still confident and does what she is confortable withand belives in. The side characters too have a great deal of personality without appearing unorganic or artifical (as they... See full review

This Witch of Mine

Jul 31, 2019

The Witch of Mine, has very heartwarming, while somewhat weird intertwined stories.  Story: First it seems like a kinda typical romance story. We have bullies, a beautiful femal victim and love interest as handsome as kind... but beware because it just gets better and stranger, with a great twist quite early. + It never gets really boring, since before it does we get a pretty much always fitting time skip. Art: The Art is colourful but polished, which makes it easy to read. What I especially liked was the fact that the art slightly changed, fitting the many diffrent situations... See full review

Arte

Mar 9, 2019

This Manga is very heartwarming as well as motivating... it has some sense of realism while still beeing quite optimistic in a way. The main character starts off as a gentle but naive soul, however she gets smarter overtime always staying true to her goal.  I personally really appreciate how sudden events do not feel forced even though they could easily seem unrealisticly merry. For an Art Manga it is somewhat lacking in art quality... but the style itself is still great and well drawn. (just not exeptionaly) If you enjoy to reading mangas which are light and easy to enjoy, while still... See full review

Odd Girl Out

Feb 15, 2019

This is an emotional rolercoaster it starts of well but it gets better with every chapter...  I personally love how much backstory every single somewhat important character gets. And even though the characters (especially the guys) in this webtoon tend do act somewhat too mean/evil, everyone generally is quite realistic depicted. (the story also has a very lifelike vibe) the Art-stlye might scare some people of... but to be honest it kinda fits well with the story itself and makes reading a bit more comfortable.  Ps: This webtoon is the embodiment of "you reap what you sow"
