Re:ZERO: Starting Life in Another World - Memory Snow

Dec 8, 2019

Spoiler Free: I didn't really like this movie but I think the biggest reason why is because of the really bad translation for the subtitles. Nearly every other sentence didn't make sense and it just really ruined trying to get into the movie.  It was, however, a nice and relaxing time in their world but it wasn't what I was expecting and I was kind of disappointed, but also kind of happy to see a break from all the drama.  The characters were cute in this and it did involve the townspeople at one point and even had a cute competition but while they were cute nothing special happened with any of... Kono Oto Tomare!

Nov 24, 2019

The characters are not dull, the episodes can be a little boring... but it's really the sound of the music that keeps bringing you back to this anime in my opinion. That and an adorable budding romance. I would give it a chance if you like classical music.

Beautiful Bones: Sakurako’s Investigation

Oct 26, 2018

It started out really good and unique but the characters boring and all of them are static, meaning they don't change at all. There a couple good mysteries in there but the filler episodes where there is no mystery make you wonder how you ever got this far to begin with.  Don't waste your time there is better anime out there.

Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits

Oct 7, 2018

The more I watched the more boring it got, it started out so interesting but every episode that went by it got less and less serious and less interesting. By the middle I was forcing myself through the episodes, I had to switch to English dub just to not fall asleep... One of the least interesting anime's I've seen all year and it saddens me because it could have had a good story. The characters are bland besides a few standouts and the sound is average, the animation can be pretty but come on that hardly counts as a rating anymore it's 2018. Overall I'm not happy and I recommend this anime to no one- I've... See full review

Is the Order a Rabbit?

Feb 26, 2018

I'm on episode 7 out of 10 so yes it is improper for me to give a review of this anime... but I just don't know if I can do it anymore. Each episode is filler, the story is non existant, the characters are bland and forgettable except for the rabbit that sits on top of one characters head. Honestly the only reason I'm hanging around is because I'm curious on how her dad got turned into said rabbit on her head, but I don't think the story is going to tell me.  I want to like this anime, the animation is adorable, the sound is decent, but it's just so slow and boring. It's set in a cafe where there is... See full review

Restaurant to Another World

Nov 12, 2017

99% filler anime. With small stories that leave you unmotivated to watch the next episode but the curiosity on the next food and creature pushing you on.  You can either take or leave this anime it's definitely a forgettable one. I had high expectations after the first episode but unfortunately, it fizzled out and was not a food anime really... more of creatures eating food anime. I guess it makes you hungry. You know the rest from the other reviews. I decided to update my score for this anime because I was scrolling through my reviews, saw this anime and thought to myself, "God I hate this... Masamune-kun's Revenge

Jul 20, 2017

So I like the plot well enough, I definitely haven't seen a revenge based anime before that is also pretty light hearted and I liked it. However, the anime goes along great up until episode 10 then it starts falling down hill very fast. What could have been a simple and logical ending to the anime was over complicated and left to many unsolved questions, confusion, and a little anger. The last episode didn't help at all since the vast majority of the episode was filler. THE LAST EPISODE WAS F*CK*NG FILLER WHAT!?!?!?!?! I just don't understand what they were thinking. The animation is what is nothing... See full review

Castlevania

Jul 13, 2017

I regret not picking up Castlevania for wii when I saw it as a kid. This anime has made me want to genuinely experience more of the entire franchise.  I greatly appreciate how the story takes inspiration in actual religious events of the past and tying them together with supernatural elements really makes a beautiful/horrifyingly gory story. Unfortunately, in the first season there are only four episodes, which has a smallish cliff hanger luckily, however, season 2 has already been announced and is going to have eight episodes.  Blood is name of the game in this animation, with glore and... One-Punch Man

Apr 23, 2017

This review contains minor spoilers. One Punch Man is the anime you've already seen and I've just finished. But, if you didn't know, this anime is basically about a plain twenty-five year-old man who happens to be the strongest man in the world, with it only taking one punch to destroy everything. And that's just holding back. Though, hilariously, he can't catch a stupid fly. XD I'll be honest it took me a while to get into this anime, mostly because of how over powered the main character is, but when I took a step back and accepted that that was the point and this was supposed to be a comedy and a... Sweetness & Lightning

Mar 23, 2017

This anime was absolutely adorable. The best thing about this anime is that you could take your time watching it and never feel rushed to finish it or that you might forget something that is going on.  And while this anime doesn't really have much of a story, sticking to an original plot to each episode, it's still really nice to sit down and watch a day in the life this widowed teacher try to make delicious food for his little girl. The animation and sound is pretty good with nothing in particular about either sticking out to me. Though this anime is not yet dubbed it may be in the future. The... See full review

Seraph of the End

Oct 21, 2016

Watching this anime I feel like for the first 7 episodes the show is actively trying to slow the series down and avoid confrontation with any enemies. This anime would have been better if it was condensed into an OVA or movie skipping so much filler. Yes it is that boring. (Seriously they wasted four episodes out of twelve by sending the main character to school because he has an attitude problem) The creator of this either doesn't know what good consistant pacing is or was running out of idea's and deadlines were coming up. It just... I don't know it bothers me that you have to wait until episode 8... See full review

Switch

Dec 9, 2015

This anime is only two episodes so the story was very fast and unfortunately there was a lot of acronyms used for things with the very title possibly being one. Throughout the story there are many things that have no explanation given about them like what even is a "matori". Otherwise, the over all feeling and tone and plot of the story is very interesting. It starts off with two undercover detectives trying to make a drug bust in two different ways. One cop is working in a gang that is supposed to be making a deal for the drugs and the other became a part time employee with a botany company. From... See full review

Fairy Tail OVA

Nov 29, 2015

Absolutely f****** hilarious (especially the final one). If you love perverted nonsense and a glimpse and possible future couples then at least the first and final episode is for you. Each OVA has its own individual story that wraps itself up at the end of the episode, the first and final episode were unique to the story, one revolving around lucy and the other around the guild going to a waterpark. *Laughs at memory* The middle ones were add-ons to the ending of fairy tail. Overall the stories are pretty good but I obviously have my favorites. The animation was good, it would have been better if I... See full review

The Troubled Life of Miss Kotoura

Nov 23, 2015

Kotoura-San is an absolutely adorable anime which knows how to make you smile. The story is about this cute girl named Kotoura who can read minds and has been lonely her whole life because of it. She gets transferred to like her 7th high school which has an ESP club which she, of course, gets dragged into. There's a lot of things they do together as clubs and more things outside of it that happen. Overall the story is well paced and positive but with a lot of feels moments. And there's something about it that just makes you support the main character. The Animation is Absolutely GORGEOUS it is... See full review

Durarara!!

Oct 24, 2015

The sense of unity in this anime is astonishing, the story takes turns (plot twists) I never thought it would and keeps a good balance of realistic and fantasy. That being said I love the fact that they added urban legends into this mix of gang wars and ontop of that you have the antagonist- who has this likeness about him- he's an asshole but there's just something I love about him- who is scheming scheming mischievious things.  There's a lot of philosophy in this anime and an unexpected amount of it will ring true in one way or another. While the philosophy is actually in the animation it brings it... See full review

Aki Sora: Yume no Naka

Oct 12, 2015

hentai?= I'm not sure if this could actually be considered hentai because genitals are not shown in this anime. First off just as any sort of hentai or just romance their are certain things that we each like differently. Some people hate sora because he's weak, shy, volunarable... all around submissive however I really like that so I adore Sora's character. All of the characters are uniquely different something not very thought out in hentai?.  This hentai? (more like Ecchi) is way more thought out than most hentai? simply because it didn't turn into two sisters on sora but something entirely... See full review

Naruto

Aug 11, 2015

The best thing this anime has going for it is the lessons and the morals and how they're shown threw the characters. The characters are not generic but unique and stay true to who they are. *The character score is actually supposed to be 11/10 because i've never loved and felt so close to anime characters ever.* The story is addictive, I've litterally watched naruto 5 times at least and still find myself going back for more. I seriously want my children growing up watching naruto. However there are tons of fillers but usually, at least for me, they're funny or a memory or add to your knowledge about the... RDG: Red Data Girl

Aug 11, 2015

I loved it. I absolutely loved it. This was such a heart felt anime that spoke to you. This anime was calm but so intreging it left you wanting more. The characters are so lovable, the art is beautiful. Occasionally a few things that happened felt rushed while other things that weren't as important felt as though it took a lot of time- but it wasn't a big enough deal for me to say it bothered me. I watched this anime dubbed and I think they picked a wonderful cast for all the characters especially the main character's, I also loved the opening and the closing. In particular I loved how you saw the main... See full review

The Wallflower

Jul 31, 2015

This anime is 25 episodes long the plot is introduced on the first episode which is to turn Sinako into a beautiful lady and then there are 23 and a half episodes of filler after the first episode. The story only has a couple of laughable moments but they did my biggest pet peeve and commented about how they were self aware that they were an anime. And while the anime is only 25 episodes long the same plot line (kidnapping) is used 4 times- that's unnessasary. The animation is my most hated thing about this show- 95% of the time the main female character is in a chibbi form but with no eyes, nose, or mouth... See full review

Beyond the Boundary

Jul 29, 2015

I'm ganna hit on the good note first and then the bad. First off visually this anime is stunning, with brillant anamation schemes and colors and that leave you wanting to create something that looks just as beautiful. The only reason the art is not a 10/10 is because there is one fighting scene where the screen is white with just sparks flying around it for at least 30 seconds and a few contrasting details that i didn't like very much between a certain fight scene that was in the rain; the characters looked almost black and white but the "magic" that happens during fights looked very... Wolf Girl and Black Prince

Jun 18, 2015

Honestly when the anime started I didn't think I would be finishing it, but I said to myself "At least finish the first episode." So I was really surprised when I watched the entire series in two days. The reason I thought I wasn't goign to get through the series was because I'm not a fan of liars, which is all the first few episodes are. Though when I finished up the first episode I thought it had potential and went onto the other thing. The next reason was the animation- It's very simple, it's not overly beautiful or colorful, it's just there to get the job done; even the detail is... See full review

K

Apr 15, 2015

One of the things that I loved most about K was the vivid colors- the colors in this anime are probably the most beautiful colors I've ever seen in any anime which is really what kept me going back- and unique story line However the middle of the anime gets confusing and a bit boring in my opinion, which made the anime become drawn out to me. The fighting was interesting especially through the clans- which also can get confusing. I must say that at the end of the anime the confusing bits are cleared up and you get the nice detail of an epic battle as well as clarification. So if you're willing to... See full review

RIN: Daughters of Mnemosyne

Apr 8, 2015

Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne is an anime that has never left me, I've seen the anime five or six times over the years and each time I take another lesson from it and I learn something more about the anime that I didn't notice or realize beforehand. This anime is highly psychological and very disturbing which is actually part of it's sadistic charm. One of the things I noticed was that all of the characters where connected throughout the anime, even though the anime goes through several generation of characters with the immortal main character, Rin.  The plot is very unique and so is the concept...
