An interesting concept hampered by poor characters.
Tomodachi Game is a high stakes game where a group of friends is encouraged to betray each other as often as possible for their own gain, in this case, millions of yen. The game is made to crack and fracture relationships and does just that. The issue is that the characters are not all that well written and the pacing is damaged by constantly showing us observers of the game who explain via hand holding exactly what is going on and why it should seem exciting. That kind of hand holding isn't needed. It certainly isn't a bad show, it just isn't very realistic for how people would react in these circumstances. I would recomend you try it to see how it goes for a bit and decide whether or not you want to keep going based on how you like the characters.
Story 8/10 original and feels fresh
Animation 6/10 the 3d animation feels out of place and there are a few other issues
Sound 7/10 nothing bad nothing outstandingly good
characters 5/10 just don't feel very real, they seem too compitent at times and like complete idiots at others
Overall 6/10 Worth trying especially if you find you like the characters.

The definition of competent doesn't, but the interpretation of what is competent in a area, field or in this case peoples actions based on thoughts and feelings in general is more subjective. This is especially the case when you don't have all the info. To call them realistic or not has to be done in the context of the world/story/narrative and the character themselves as portrayed. You are looking for inconsistency without reason in these, not the "real world".
Sry just when people start saying not realistic its just a bit weird cause there is no "realistic" when it comes to entertainment media. Has to be done in context.
The definition of competent doesn't change from one world to another.
You look at the world the author is trying to create. Then you judge the characters, actions and events based off how they fit in that world if they are realistic to it or not. That's how you judge realistic, not off the world we live in. That would just be stupid to do.
To those who say it's anime, they aren't supposed to be realistic, I refer you to A Silent Voice.
The story is getting interesting
