Hello! I'm Saeryen, a fan of anime and an aspiring game desinger/singer-songwriter!
My Favorite Anime
Most favorite anime, and my pick for best anime of all time.
This is one of the most heartwarming, beautiful things I've ever seen. I love Natsume and Nyanko-sensei, and the side characters are also amazing. There was even an episode that made me sympathize with a character I didn't particularly like. Highly recommend!
This is so pure and kind and beautiful. It made me feel really good to watch it.
When I started to get into anime I knew I would want to watch this, since I'd read some of the mangas. It is amazing! The characters are all fantastic and the themes are uplifting. Sakura's mantra of 'I will definitely be all right' has helped me. I highly recommend this anime.
While I loved both Cardcaptor Sakura movies, this one is the one I like best. I love how true to the themes of the original anime, as well as Sakura's attempts to confess to Syaoran.
This was a wonderful continuation of the Cardcaptor Sakura story, and I found myself loving the new characters. I really hope we get Season 2!
This anime made me smile, laugh and sometimes cry. It's so adorable and heartwarming. And it's perfect for me 'cause I love cats quite a bit.
This is too adorable. I was reminded a bit of Natsume Yuujinchou, though this show is more "kawaii." I love all the characters and their youkai family! I hope they make another season!
I was initially drawn to the handsome youkai, but then it became even better with how heartwarming it was. Highly recommend this, and hoping so much for another season.
A wonderful anime full of youkai romance and Japanese mythology! I love all the kinds of youkai that appear in this show, and Nanami is awesome.
This is such a fun, delightful romp of an anime. Really cute characters and so many funny moments, but there's also actual character growth and the friendship moments are just super sweet. Plus it has a talking kitty and I love those.
This anime reminds me of Nichijou, but more relaxed. Tanaka is very zen and while I don't want to sleep all the time, this show does remind me that sometimes you just need a nap in the sunshine. Plus it's very funny and the friendships are so sweet.
Tsurune not only got me interested in kyudo (meaning I may want to learn it myself), but it was also a beautiful, beautiful anime. Very emotional and heartwarming. Plus, Minato's mental health struggles were relatable and I found myself loving and rooting for him. Best anime of 2018.
This is the first full anime I ever watched due to my favorite singer, Akiko Shikata, singing the second ED. And I was delighted! This show reminded me of Avatar: The Last Airbender with the protagonist being somewhat like Zuko and the similar fantasy Asian setting. The music is amazing, as are the characters, and I loved how complex the main antagonist was rather than being a flat 'bad guy.' It was a joy to watch Yona's character development and to get to know Hak, Yoon and the dragons. I really hope we get more of this anime, because the story clearly isn't over.
