Collection of creepy stories, sad stories and weird stories. Some stories are connected, said stories are not shown after each other and that somehow makes sense.
Junji Itous work might never be succesfully adapted into anime and that is purely because his style is so detailed and the tactics he uses in his story telling rely on the manga format, like the page turn.
If you can stomach it, I suggest you read Itous mangas instead.
Stories were interesting, some were predictable and some were too short to really say anything about.
Animation is decent, episode 5 has some of the worst punching you'll ever seen in animation.
Sound was average? Didn't add to the creepiness or scariness, but wasn't bad either.
Interesting characters, some were annoying, some creepy/evil, a few good and nice characters who rarely got an good end.
