Did you happen to watch Mirai Nikki: Redial OVA? Did you mean the last episode of the season or the OVA itself? 

I felt like the OVA had a great closure and a necessary one at that, but that could just be me. 

I'm going to start Higurashi after I catch up on the new summer titles! Are you watching any at the moment?

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you ASAP! I went back home for the July 4th holiday weekend and didn't get a chance to reply. Hope you've been doing well (:

I've heard about "Higurashi no naku koro ni"! You fully recommend it? And is it something along the lines of "Mirai Nikki"? 

And no worries! I'm pretty new the anime/manga scene myself. I don't have years of experience like many people and I'm technically not that well-versed in all the tropes and info on anime culture, but I've been enjoying them for a good bit ^^
