As i find with most anime taken from novels they turn out pretty well, but this one especially.

Story- The story is intresting and quite well thought out be it lore or the current story as it gives explanations about this strange new world and the rules they must live by and the many problems that inherit that world and leaves you asking for more after the anime has ended.

As i just said this anime leaves you asking for more, which can be done because there are 3 novel's but unfortunately I dont think they are going to ever animate the other 2 novels, But i can always hope, And beaing a fantasy lover this anime just pulled me in, with its main plot which has twists and moments that have you on the edge of your seat or slumped back crying, Its an emotanal ride that will keep you hooked.

Animation- I dont have much to say about the animation, apart from that the art style is good and is the kind i like (the eyes are not so far apart you could rent the space and park a car there like some anime).

Sound-I loved the music in this anime and love how it fits the chinese theme, I even have the main song downloded onto my phone, and the voice acting is pretty good (8/10) can be a bit over the top at times but all round good voice acting.

Characters-In this anime there is some big character development especially in the MC (youko), youko starts out as a naive young girl who is afraid of what other people think of her and is genrally a coward, but as the story progresses she learns the hardships of life in the new world she has been put in and tries to overcome them, be it by cutting down enemies or making friends the story shapes her be it better or for worse, the same goes for the MC's (youko) friends who got put in that world with her, they both go through many hardships which shape and mold them which i found to be verry intriguing and heartbreaking at times.

All in all this anime is a good watch which you can watch over and over and still want more, a good recomendation for the fantasy lovers ^.^
