I watched it a while ago but the feelings remain: I need to read the manga! Why I liked it: 1st shock episode. A dedicated main character who is cunning and decieving, and does what she thinks is best. Clever murders. A handsome (and cute) "antiprotagonist" so someone at least clever enough to see our main character for who she is. Not rushed real friendship - which leads to eventual shake up for the protagonist. Just finished the series and I have to say I am confused why many people rated it so high. The main character Satou is the type of character I like... at least in the beggining. After like 4 episodes it felt like the story was full of stupidity. Characters acting extremes, they behavior in situations are unlikely, I might even say it would have been a parody of traumas if it was even a little bit funny. Well after trying to give it a chance, watching a few episodes the beggining was quite average, actually boring to be honest. About 5 episodes in I started to be interested, then I got to like the main character a lot. That's what kept me going. Story: Tries to be a lot of genre frist detective, supernatural, about grown ups life then became psychological. Oh and tried to be funny, but failed desparetly. Not funny at all. I cried 3 times, laughed only 2x I think. Yes, through the WHOLE SERIES.

So actually I started watching it because of a gif on facebook. I heard it is funny so I said why not? 
No it's not that funny. 
There's the main character who is not that bad character, but the others are just dissaponting. 
All of them is dumb, but not on a funny or cute way which could have been fun to watch... No, they are useless, and they even make the life of the main character worse. I find it very annoying, how all of the 3 main "heroine"s act.

My all time favourite anime! The story about an average high school boy... Oh wait, not so true. Yusuke Uremeshi is actually a total jerk (well at first someone would think). Even the spirit world is surprised, that he literally saved the life of a little boy, who was nearly hit by a car. But in process, he died, and now he thinks its better this way, and has no though of wanting to live again. Higurashi no naku koro ni kai Well, actually it's one of my favorites. Animation is its weak point, but the genius story balaced it quite well. The first season made no sense at all, but that's why I became very very interested, what does it wants to show me. It's full of twists, sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's terribly horroristic. Okay, so here I am writting my first review. Actually I am a big fan of colorful and artistic art, and this one is full of it. Let me say, that one picture from here is/was my wallpaper for quite long, and I am literally in love with it even now. I didn't want to watch it, but now I am glad I did. It has no story, or characters ( or just doesn't worth mentioning ), but I found it very relaxing after a solid 7 minutes. At first, I just wanted to find its name, but then I decieded to watch it.
