Characters (spoilers ahead): Aoba: she's fine. Kou: she's fine. Rin: she's fine. Hajime: she's forgettable but fine. Hifumi: she's forgettable but fine. Yun: she's forgettable and (mostly) fine. (seriously girl, you're so skinny, what the hell are you talking about?) Umiko: someone please arrest her! Shizuku: someone please please please arrest her!! As an adaptation of the Street Fighter games... this anime sucks. Ryu is very different, his backstory, his appearance, his personality. Ken is a bit more similar to his game persona although still pretty different. Chun-li is probably the most ridiculous, by far. Instead of the older, mature and experient martial artist, this Chun-li is 15 years old (and remember that information), still an amateur and she's... from Hong Kong? This is going to be a bit difficult to write... but I'll try. The story is unfortunatly pretty disappointing. Also the characters. First of all, the good. What I liked the most? I really appreciate the fact the anime is pretty realistic about some topics. In most yaoi works the characters are two pretty straight characters that fall in love with each other and need to live in some secret thing just because. Very boring and uninteresting plot. I was literally skipping minutes in the last episodes because everything was extremily confusing and boring. I will not spoil anything... but I will say this season is a disappointment. The little investment I had for the first season was killed by this one.

Ok, I prefer this one over Generations... but it's still a pretty meh movie. First of all, the story. Spoilers! Ryu fights some criminals during Chun-Li mission. Sakura is watching Ryu defeating the criminals. Ryu discovers he has a little brother. Ken does not believe the Ryu's "little brother". Okay, first of all, I really dislike when people try to explain Ryu's origin before his sudden appearance in his master dojo. Like, what I like about Ryu is the fact that he's a very average guy but with a great ambition. Well, in this OVA they tried to tell us that Ryu is Gouki/Akuma's child!!! Yes! The most generic and straight up boring and predictable explanation ever! Spoilers! Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story isn't a good anime, in my opinion. It's even worse as a "Madoka Magica"-anime. The main problem is the abnormal amount of characters, some without importance. And when this is used badly, well, the audience tends not to care about them. And that was my case.
