Considering it is like 5 years or so I am watching anime, with some calculations it makes something like 2-3 episodes at day :) But then there are days (or nights :P) when I watch 10 or so, and weeks when I do not watch anything at all ^^
By "haven't finished it" you mean that you haven't even finished one route? Personally I feel that Fate route was actually the weakest of all, and you have to finish it to be able to move on onto another one.
Unlimited Blade Works > Heavens Feel > Fate
Yes, it's slow at times, (Cooking scenes, argh.) but once you get over that it's a lot more satisfying experience.
If you're truly a fan of F/SN you should finish all routes, as there are gazillion things that aren't even explained in all in the anime; scratch that, some (most?) parts of anime's story don't even make any sense if you look at the background that is explained in the novel.
Still, reading the novel takes time. In Extra menu you can see how much time you've spent on it - I ranked 96 hours to finish all three routes. 96 hours of continuous reading - I'm surprised myself that it took so long, but I don't regret it at all. (:
Really? Well, if you'd ask me, the anime would be great if it weren't three separate paths mixed together. If they would pick only one and gone with it; I can't really forgive them that they've took all three paths and made a Frankenstein.
As each path in visual novel takes like, 15 hours to complete there is should be easily enough material to make a 24 episode anime; I still don't understand why they didn't just stick to Fate path.
Well, I can only keep wishing that they will finally make a proper F/SN anime, as Heavens Feel path is still more or less unexplored.
BTW, did you finish the novel? Did you play with voices? (As they are really necessary to the whole experience.) Also, the Realta Nua patch adds quiet a few scenes and CGs (Heavens Feel fights are particulary juicy with it) - http://rnpatch.blogspot.com/2009/12/realta-nua-patch-version-42.html
