Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

Feb 22, 2021

The main character reincarnated as a baby to a medieval couple in a world filled with magic, fantasy races, swordfighting but, most importantly, lots of opportunities for sexual assult. Particularly of minors. And that isn't, or should I say, shouldn't sit well with a lot of us but it just might with some because for some men female characters with completely lack of orientation as to what is happening to them is completely fine. There is just a chance for so much of a better representation of these dark themes, in a much more sensitive way, that these sort of characters just shouldn't cut it... See full review

Shugo Chara!

Jan 26, 2020

This review is reflective of two things: this anime is over 10 years old, and this anime is aimed at a young, female audience. It is perfectly reflective of that, with no inappropriate scenes or language, making it a good choice for even the youngest children. The pretty colours make the story sweet and pleasant, and the lovable and friendly characters are good role models for children. It is a nice watch for those who are young or want to watch something extremely innocent.

Fire Force

Aug 17, 2019

The fire force seems to have a good idea of what it wants to be in hindsight, yet skews towards unnecessary fanservice wherever possible for no particular reason. It's quite tough to distinguish whether we are dealing with horny teenagers or brave firefighters, and if it continues to sway, the viewers just won't be able to take it seriously. We might just be watching it for the opening. Reviewed with 6 episodes watched.

The King's Avatar

May 1, 2017

This is a very interesting gem. The readers of the original novel must be overjoyed to see it come to life in anime form as it is a chinese novel, and in china animations must be far less popular than in Japan. Since it is chinese, we definitely do not get the expertise of a popular japanese studio, and this is clear in the exection of the title, but the story is so far solid and it is good to see some bits animated to a lot of detail. So far there is quite a story going on and we already wish to see Ye Xiu's character beat the professional team that threw him away. As cocky as he is, we can't... See full review

Orange

Jan 3, 2017

Can I just say that this is not an anime for everyone, if you a young male otaku, you won't like it because you just don't get it. I'm just sick of all those fat guy otakus sitting here and being like 'worsth anime ever' because it is not, and futhermore there is no need to downrate it just because you think it is overrated. Whether it is hyped or not has nothing to do with the quality of the anime. It's same stuff everytime when anime gets hyped - people wants to give it 0s because they decided to watch an anime that is not of their liked genre. I could also go ahead and watch a shounen and give it 0s when... See full review

Kiss Him, Not Me

Nov 19, 2016

The story is about a young girl whos crazy for BL, a true otaku, who finds herself in the centre of boys' attention when a sudden tragedy linked to one of her much loved anime characters shakes up her life. From then onwards she's encircled by boys from her highschool, who each have a very different way of trying to win her ower. In the mean time, Kae (the main character) can still continue her observations of real life BL by her sneaky ways. Very good execution of a comedy comparable to My Love Story!! and Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun. If you enjoyed any of these titles, and have a hunch... See full review

Nisekoi

Dec 4, 2015

Review with slight spoliers. Okay, I am going to keep this short since there might be just too little to say about this anime. By too little to say, I think you already know that one of the problems will be the story, or rather it's complete stoning. The story really does not move at all and I as further dissapointed by finding out that in the manga, that has so many damn chapters, the character still hasn't picked a girl! I mean, he doesn't even know that the main girl has feelings for him... It is just such a waste of my time to watch an anime with no story progression whatsoever. I did ineed enjoy it a... My Love Story!!

Jun 25, 2015

My Love Story entails the basic and simply brilliant approach to comedy and high school love. There is more than enough grip on each episode to raise your interest and put the story forward. As much as romance anime goes, it usually loses its sweetness as the anime moves on from the hardship of becoming a couple to the daily perks and moments, yet Ore Monogatari shows that it can continue to put meaningful development into each episode without making it monotone. The occasional cuteness overload and fun moments add to the anime's core structure, providing us with a story for those who like the simple and... See full review
