Konosuba - The Movie

Konosuba had always piqued my curiosity after hearing so much about the show. And I was never sure what to think of it. After my own acquired experience, I cannot support the hype surrounding this comedy. It was slightly above average, but couldn't convince enough. What I can't deny, however, is the fact that the series was well balanced and ended up with a rather subtle film.

In fact, I'm almost as proud as a father whose child has finally learned to walk. At least the feeling should be close.

With this film, KonoSuba actually got the best of the best out of itself. Since this is probably the last we'll ever see of the show, it's at least a good thing that it made a more positive exit.

In the area of ​​the plot, as expected, nothing has changed, but this is not necessary for a comedy either. However, they have at least provided some explanations and stories for this world.

The animations have undoubtedly increased rapidly. The still spongy drawing style really catches your eyes, in contrast to the backgrounds and dynamic explosions. Somehow it makes it all the more bizarre.

This film also has a rather subtle structure for some gags. For the most part, hardly anything happens here and the jokes are limited. For this purpose, the scenes in between were designed a little more, so it didn't feel like torture.

As expected, the characters are still the same bang-bang and that's a good thing. The series can only live as long as the characters stay the same assholes and make each other's life hell.

And so be it, I will certainly not forget the series. But I will not be able to keep them completely remarkable either. Nonetheless, it is definitely recommended for fans of the "comedy" genre who also accept dirty humor.
