Noragami

The description of Noragami didn't sound too impressive to me, even if the drawing style already exuded a kind of individuality, so at least there had to be something in it. In the end, it was almost only the look itself.

Noragami started with rather rough episodes and it seemed that the start was difficult. The introduction to the plot was also rather poor. At first you could have really thought that the plot would have a case principle that would be completed in the course of 1-2-3 episodes. Say, Yato takes an order which he is pursuing and that's it and the whole thing again. However, this was largely kept in the background.

Instead, this season started to revolve around one of the 3 protagonists who was in his "puberty" and which was implemented quite impressively. It is a rarity if something is treated like puberty on a large scale in an anime.

Story:

The actual plot of Noragami was not in focus in the first season, here the character relationships were dealt with and characters introduced. Of course, there were already hints of what the story was about, but not many clues were left behind. Questions were asked and not all of them were answered, i.e. the plot was not particularly flat, even if it was very clear in many scenes.

In the second season, some of the remaining questions were answered and further questions were asked, which should actually be answered in a third season that has not yet been published.

Subtext:

Given that, the first season wasn't too strong in the story area, but it was in the characters area.

Animation / pictures:

The animations were quite volatile, sometimes they were handsome and sometimes just average. In the last episode, much more effort was put in to the side of the animations to deliver a pretty nice and fluid ending.

Otherwise there was nothing too noteworthy, the colors and shadows were according to the norm.

Characters:

The characters looked visually very interesting, their design was a change, not to mention the drawing style. However, that was almost everything.

Yato, who was the protagonist of the story, was a little mystery. An over-the-top hothead that apparently cannot possibly live alone and constantly only causes problems. And on the other hand, from time to time it looks quite reasonable and transparent. You couldn't really find any real reasons for his bizarre character, since the third season should deal with him.
Yato seemed quite likable in itself, but apart from sympathy he was the protagonist with a lack of depth.

Hiyori, who was another main character, was the bigger evil compared to Yato. In terms of design, it looked quite normal and, yes, that was exactly the problem. Hiyori was the typical "Good Girl" who didn't achieve anything varied and was completely typical of her character. Apart from a strange predilection for her, she had nothing special and no real development in character.

Yukine, the third of the main characters and the only hope in the trio area. A 14 year old boy, with a rather bizarre fate and the curse of puberty. His personality is absolutely nothing impressive or new, a completely typical boy in puberty, but it was exactly this that made the difference. The way of implementation and the relation to the plot and Yato had presented the whole thing in an interesting way.
The whole thing was not treated laxly, it took plenty of time for this.

Supporting characters:

There was almost nothing worth mentioning among the supporting characters. Most of the stereo types were represented and a bunch of characters conforming to the norm were distributed throughout the plot. There were some with a notable personality, but they remained in the minority.

Music:

The intro was quite interesting from the style of the representation also from the musical style, you rarely saw something like that.
The outro, on the other hand, was more calming and flat, which was better as an ending.

Especially the Ost's in my eye. I can't interpret her style, let alone claim to have heard of it. Some of them resembled Dubstep and yet they were something different. In any case, they were a good change from the typical East and had their own class.
In this way, the best result was achieved in the music category.

Conclusion

Overall, it has been a fairly entertaining modern story of the gods. Is nothing in itself now earth-shattering or let alone a top title, but this is certainly worth seeing.

5/10 story
7.5/10 animation
9/10 sound
7/10 characters
6.5/10 overall
