Uh-oh, this series is exactly what you expect, except then it's not. To be honest, I sort of thought that this was more or less a parody of other isekai, and in sense, it is, but then it suddenly becomes the thing it tries to parody. But then again, it's not that bad at all, it's certainly watchable, with a few caviats. The most important one being the fact that the show starts well, but then turns sour at episodes 9-10, and goes steep downhill from there. This is one of those series that look really boring at first, but if you keep watching, it will get interesting. It's quite similar to Jem and the Holograms in some ways. This is an anime made between 89-90, although it often feels older than that, especially the narrator voiceover.

Plot
The overall story of this anime is not that interesting, to be honest. It's just a story of someone becoming an idol, with a quite cliched tragic backstory.
