RedynZ says... I gonna not quote everything you said. But I think also it's maybe good to not lock your self into certain types of anime, which makes you able to watch more broad list of series. Which I fully understand. Me on the hand have locked my self into watching a few Genres, Such as Supernatural, Superpower, Vampire, Demon, Angel. Etc. I could mention a few more. But there is also a few genre i cant stand watch, and there is certain drawing styles i don't like either. So Im pretty much locked to a few series. However, I have made an exception once in a while when i want to have a break from what I Watch. So maybe someday I'll ask for a suggestion from you whom is open to all anime, what to watch when i need a break again. With that said. Have a Gorgous Day :)

I quote folks, because a lot of times they want to remember what they said to me, and I get so many comments on my page it's hard to find the comment again, and it can be a pain in the neck to find it.  So, I make it easy, and often quote the person when I respond to them!

I -am- open to all kinds of anime!  In fact, I even belong to a couple of clubs on the site here where we watch anime that no one else wants to watch. DTAB = Damn That Anime's Bad, a club dedicated to watching really really bad anime with others, and ALC, which is the Anime Lottery Club, which assigns via a lottery system to participants the title of an anime just being released (current season anime only) that is not likely to be popular nor have many viewers, and each participant watches this potentially unloved series.

Anytime you want suggestions from me, I'll be happy to offer some to you, but they may not end up being what you would want to see!  However, I promise not to offer you DTAB material when I make suggestions!

RedynZ says... I want to know your top 10 list. And a statement why your number one is number one. *w*

I am so sorry I can't answer this for you.

LOL I really hate the "what's your favorite anime?" question, because I can never give folks the answer they want by listing out one or a few great titles or giving them an Awesome Anime List.  The truth is, I don't really have a favorite, because I watch so many different things and like so many different parts from the things I see. I can't really narrow it down! *grin*  So generally, I just tell folks they can see what I've enjoyed in comparison with other things I've watched by taking a look at my Anime list sorted by my star Ratings given.  Sianeka's Sorted Anime List.

(I'll give brief notes for my highest rated titles if you wish, though.)

Wolf Children - pleasantly surprised that this WASN'T like some cute little Disney wolf child story

Steins;Gate/Steins;Gate Special - has slow pacing to start, but once it hits its stride (around episode 10 or so) you know (and love) the characters and understand the physics in this world and events and the pace really ramps up to create a really well crafted story

Hotarubi no Mori e - hands down, one of my favorite movies, touches me in the heart every. single. time.

Eve no Jikan Movie - the movie is the entire series PLUS additional footage, so no need to watch both.  I love the philosophical and moral questions and ideas raised by humans vs androids stories

Fullmetal Alchemist/Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - One of my favorite viewing experiences. They were creating the first series, FMA, while the manga was still being written so while the first part of the series is very similar to the manga, the middle and ending are quite different.  Second series, Brotherhood, was created after the manga series was completed and follows the manga storyline much more closely. However, a lot of the first part of the story was more thoroughly covered in the first series. I recommend seeing them both, in chronological order.

Nodame Cantabile - quirky romance, and a GORGEOUS classical music soundtrack

Trigun - comedy adventure with a serious understory and a loveable goofball of a hero in Vash the Stampede
