The Unwanted Undead Adventurer

Mar 23, 2024

A really great watch. My only complaint is that the number of episodes is too small and I'd have liked to see more about the characters evolution but maybe Season 2 (if that is on the radar) will delve more into it!

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too

Feb 12, 2024

I watched this whole thing so you don't have to. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this hot mess; the characters, the story, and the animation all just while along like a toddler with blue ribbons for participation. Our MC is the worst, always never realizing how he has changed and is somehow shocked that people find him attractive. I can't say how I mustered the ability to even finish except for just finishing the winter challenge really. The animation and sound for this are just awful as well; clearly they are trying to share a few bucks by animating fisheye lens-style shots and the sound just... See full review

By the Grace of the Gods 2

Nov 17, 2023

Maybe Season 3 will have some kind of real conflict? We never resolved if the tamers guild accept slimes now, where the heirlooms are, and even if he’s going to get a third shop. Overall, not a bad show but it seemed like season 2 just went on a walk around the block instead of resolving anything or establishing anything outside of the few times we met new Gods and got the new Shop.

Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon

Sep 26, 2023

Super fun and funny anime that pokes fun at the bad Isakai (if you have one that just popped up in your head, that's probably the one I'm talking about) and also is lighthearted and simple enough to watch in between something you might consider more time-consuming or needing more brain power for that moment. I highly recommend for the story that really is like to both the characters and the viewer, smart enough to know how silly it is and short enough to be a great way to pass time by. Looking forward to season 2!

The Faraway Paladin

Jul 20, 2022

Not awful but it does fit the trope of turning every light novel with a little bit of another world aspect in it into an anime as of late. The first several episodes are probably what made this worth finishing for me but the rest just kinda fell flat. No real substance was other than "live a good life" as the main theme for the show. Not a terrible moral but not one that is shown more than in inner dialogue and flashbacks to just a few epodes ago. just a word to the wise, skip episode 7; it's a recap episode with only the last few minutes having any plot movement.

Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits

Jan 29, 2022

A simple and well-made anime of finding a home in the strangest places. I came in wanting an adventure and found something wholesome and fun, something I didn’t think I needed but much appreciated in these crazy times. I very much am looking forward to the next season if one comes out!

a small thing I did not care for was just seeing little development for the time fe plot until the end. It was fun for sure and developed well but I really wanted to see more between two two leads.

Dragon's Dogma

Sep 23, 2020

True to form, Dragons Dogma tells the tale of The Asrisens quest to defeat the dragon after it destroys his home and family. The shortness of this series may have contributed to this but, overall, it was a shame to not see more development of the world and characters. Still, the cast was well made and I was rooting for the heroes till the end! I would say that if your in-between Anime's and want something that still has a good story but is short than check this out. If your a fan of the game then you'd also enjoy this. Otherwise, you may want to stay away due to how the show is made to be a battle of the... See full review

Dimension W

Jan 24, 2019

This is the story of a dimension that has the potential for creating an almost unending amount of energy for the earth. This is also the story of a robot girl that is trying to stay hidden with a mercenary that hates new tech and how mega-corporations are trying to elbow each other out of....you get the idea. This anime is big on a back story but serves you just enough to only keep you interested for me. Don't get me wrong, it's super well done! The characters are well thought out and engaging, the world is flushed out and has very little holes in it and the sound works great in giving you the feel of... See full review

One Room

Oct 2, 2018

What this anime is, in a nutshell, is harmless. You are the protagonist for three separate stories involving three women who all set the stage for love, companionship and the overall slice of life. Normally, I hate slice of life stories...this is one of those that did break the barrier for me, but only w little.

this kind of POV style is something I actually enjoyed, and the way the animation works for angles make it interesting and entertaining. However, the times it would break from POV was a little jarring and I would have honestly preferred to see more of the POV then have the camera move to get... See full review

Cells at Work!

Sep 27, 2018

TL: DR A fantastic short anime series at 13 episodes about the world that Cells live in and how their dedication to doing hard work keeps us in tip-top shape. Join in on the short adventures of a Red Blood Cell as she finds herself making friends with helpful immunity cells and learns about how the work that she does keeps everyone moving! Personal: I highly recommend this Anime for something simple and fun to watch and eagerly await season 2, which has been announced to be in production. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Long Version: An enjoyable and comedic way to... B: The Beginning

Sep 22, 2018

This anime, B: The Begining, is super awesome to just binge right through due to how short of a season it is. It's chock full of excellent story content and characters that really bring it all to life. My only real complaint is that I wish we had spent more time developing the investigation team with a few more episodes so that the audience wasn't thrust into the supernatural plot line so soon. In that way, the thrills of B showing up would have been even sweeter to taste.
