The point was despite the mc being treated terribly by the elf princess, he still acts like a simp and tries to figure out what HES doing wrong, but with the other girl he acts like shes some dumbass who doesn't know what shes doing even though she's being nice. You can't make the mc seem like a mature adolescent who knows the basic fundamentals of life and then see him lose his knees over some brat. It's discouraging to read on.
