I am aware that in the manga their relationship at least somewhat improves, this review is only about the anime! 

This anime is horrible. I NEVER think anything is horrible and I normally always sugarcoat but nope this anime is so bad that even my super positive giving people the benefit of the doubt ass can't like it. It 100% romanticizes an abusive relationship.

How Erika and Kyouya got together aside, their real relationship honestly makes me sick. Kyouya is the most abusive boyfriend I've ever seen in pop culture. This anime basically teaches young influential girls that men will treat them like this and it's okay and you should keep going back to him.

NO!!! If a man (or anyone) ever starts treating you like this, leave the relationship! You can certainly try to help them see the error of their ways and change for the better but if they refuse to, just leave please!!! 

Additionally, lots of people say it's a sadist-masochist relationship. It is not! Erika does not like being treated like this, she isn't a masochist for going back to him, she's desperate and in love with an asshole. In a real sadist-masochist relationship, there is respect and boundaries, none of which are present in Erika's relationship with Kyouya. This anime just pisses me off.

The best I can say is the opening theme song has nice music and at one point there's a cute dog but honestly that's it
