Really... 7 regressions... it took her living 7 times to realize her family is nothing but a garbage can? Even being generous and the MC being exceedingly thick headed, one for the father's betrayal, one for the brother's, that should be all she needs, 3 if I don't know, she was completely oblivious on the first (which after reading about her 1st life, one should have sufficed), but 7?!?... Either way, be it 1, 2 or 7, the intro takes just 1-2ch as it often does, oh, but so much flashback material...

Well, getting that out of the way, this is another copy paste, a ridiculous family that mistreats the MC in extreme and unnecessary ways, a completely dysfunctional upbringing, there to portray how pitiful and clueless the MC was and to give a wealth of revenge reasons to several characters, thus satisfying that urge one gets when reading about a douchebag and wanting to see him pay... cliché but still, it works and it's satisfying as long as it's well done. The focus of the story (so far at least, pretty early in still) is how cool, stoic, apathetic and overbearing the FL is with some court intrigue and the "fishes", of course. Still, she is a good char, her personality change is a mess, but it's somewhat validated, I won't spoil it but apathy and being "out of patience" are the key, the author does a better job at justifying her flip in personality than most similar series. Oh, ML is decent so far, a rare sight.

In short, the MC is enough to carry the series, for a while at least, but whether it's a good manhwa or not will depend on where the story goes from the current point (ch29). It may turn out great with both an engaging story or disappointing with a story that isn't on par with it's characters (as it often happens), time will tell.

Edit (ch39): The MC is still fun to read and the story starts to move forward a little, there's a bit of political play between the houses but the cool MC is still what drives the manhwa for me. I'd say that so far it's an enjoyable read, with a cool MC and that's mostly well written. Have hopes for this one. 6.5->7

It gets better the more you read. Did you read it till the end. Like why she was so hopeful and helpless and the loop.

Could please tell me if there is only one main male character or not? Actually I only like one-on-one. Don't like that kind of story where multiple important MLs targeted one fl. So, I was hopeing if i get a satisfactory answer I may start reading it.

Well, I agree that each death has it's own form of betrayal on one level or other. Still, I find it hard to swallow that someone that has lived a cumulative 40 or more years still acts so naively as you put it, she seems to still looks for someone to save her like a teen, like a princess in distress and puts all her hopes in a new person each time. This might certainly unfair since maybe that's a very misogynist society were it ain't easy for a woman to take course of her life, more so with her being an aristocrat, but her situation after taking control of her life in the current regression suggest this is not so, same with other woman being heads of their families. Maybe she tried to run again in her last life too?.

Regardless, I can't see how someone that has endured all she has and lived 6 times in that conditions, that has lived for so long (I'm hazy on the details, but 15-6 years plus 4-5 years in each regression, she has the mental age of a 40 or more year person) and lets not forget adversity makes you mature faster, not slower. It's hard to swallow that she still has a veil over her eyes, notice that on her last death, she's surprised that her brother betrays her, that he would ask of her to die in her "sisters" place.

Maybe, and this is a big maybe, she wanted to test her brother a last time and have an unequivocal reply to whether he would betray her or not. Maybe she thought she would regress regardless and made her last bet. I would still struggle with her being surprised by her brothers actions but that's the only reading I can make that would make sense of how I see things. Maybe I'm just narrowminded haha.

Regardless, it's a good manhwa. leaving the 7 lives thing aside I find it compelling, mostly well written and the MC is great after her... "transformation".

I think you have a point, but I still disagree. Tbh I thought it was kinda weird that she needs 7 time until she actually became the girl she is now but after they showed all her death (exept the 5th and 6th one) I think it was reasonable since if you look at her story, before she came back in time she was in one word "PITIFUL"

so on her first death she could of thought that Ricardo did that because he was drunk not because he actually wanted her dead.

Following to the next death when she wanted to ran away with white hair guy hoping that she won't die again but that was a mistake and even after that she never got angry and just let everything happen... Again she was extremely naive, after that she died while trying to run away because of one letter from her family.that shows how much she was desperate for affection.

Third run died because of the Calisia(probably spell that wrong) blood, and because of the fact that her father made her constantly consume it.

Fourth run - she actually believe that her father didn't want her to die and simply just wanted Ricardo to have her power since she "doesn't deserve it" And if she would tell him that she would get killed he would never let her die like that again.Another mistake since not only was she considered as a crazy person, after she refused to consume the Calisia(idk how to spell that) blood her father made her forcefully consume a huge amount which didn't make her die that time but turn her into a monster after that she still asked for help thinking that Ricardo would definitely save her even though she already died 4 times.

5th run - she actually tried to run away still got caught and lock in a room but there is some progress! She got saved and all but we don't know what happened after and how she died.

6th one - we still don't know exactly what happened but she was on her last straw she gave them one final chance to see if maybe just maybe there is a way to change them and live happily but nope so she actually killed them she wanted revenge and for someone who could not lift a finger before that's a change.

And now we are on the 7th run where she just don't care anymore the only thing she want is to die and not go back in time again she lost all hope in basically everything.

The reason I had to put all of her death one by one here is to show you how much of a pitiful character the author tried to make here. People don't change that fast, she died so many times because of how much she wanted to trust them or anybody. She grew as someone who didn't received love and though it was only natural for her to suffer just for her family. And tbh she lost any faith in her family in the 4th run but only on the 6th run she wanted them to be bad she wanted them to throw her away so she could actually believe that no matter what she did it didn't matter that all of them are a piece of garbage and she has no reason to suffer or die for them she wanted to prove that for herself so she won't feel any guilt after killing them.

In conclusion it's not how much time but the way she died that built her and made even the most pitiful and naive person to change by himself.

I agree, it doesn't and shouldn't equate to a change in personality and I don't particularly like that in most manhwas and novels. What I was refering to was that she still had lingering hopes that her familily actually loved her when she had been killed and betrayed by them already, multiple times. I'ts like believing a con artist again when he already ripped off, 1, 2, 3, times, it's not a perfect analogy but it's serviceable.
