I'm 21 years old and have been watching anime for about 9 years. I enjoy playing video games, dancing, acting, creating characters, making lists, staring into the void, and wasting time on the internet. I play the piano sometimes also.

My absolute favorite anime of all time is Made in Abyss.

Some runner-ups are Shingeki no Kyojin, Mononoke, Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan, Madoka Magica, and Evangelion.

My favorite genres are psychological and thriller, but I'll watch pretty much anything.

When rating things, I usually take an average of my critical score and personal enjoyment score.

Here's what my ratings mean (with examples):

5/5 - true masterworks; these anime are as close to perfection as can be, and deserve the highest form of praise

4.5/5 - these anime are truly something special and have made a significant impact on me

4/5 - very good; these anime are absolute delights to watch, they're just missing that special something that makes for a 4.5 or 5

3.5/5 - these anime make for a good time, with lots of interesting ideas and characters

3/5 - decent; while not exactly good or memorable, these anime have good ideas that just needed a bit of help

2.5/5 - these anime have an equal amount of good and bad qualities, they are completely mediocre

2/5 - these anime are really not that great; it's clear the creators were trying, but just fell short

1.5/5 - just plain bad; these anime hardly had anything enjoyable; waste of my time

1/5 - terrible; these anime were painful to watch and were insults to my intelligence; should be avoided at all costs

0.5/5 - these flaming dumpster fires shouldn't even exist; they have no redeeming qualities whatsoever and are insults to anime as a whole

I have a no-drop policy when it comes to anime.

I have no problem with dropping manga though, since reading takes a lot more of my time and patience.
