Thanks for your reply and for the apology; I really did dislike Death Note and thought a lot of it was ho-hum - I should probably also revise my AoT score, but I still think it deserves a pretty solid rating. I've been a fan of the manga since chapter 1, and I really loved the world building and very interesting plot. Death Note to me seemed like a whole lot of monologuing and I still think it should have ended after the first arc. But, I can see why others enjoyed it.
As for your Monster review, I did mean to get in touch with you about that - that being said I don't think "Also, advertizing illegal streaming sites isn't allowed." is threatening that you'll be banned and/or is flipping out over the deep end :p it's true that linking to or promoting sites like that isn't allowed, so I meant to edit your review myself just to remove that phrase (and planned on sending you an email to let you know). No big deal / you weren't aware. That rule is there, btw, because we have partnerships with industry companies (Crunchyroll, Hulu, Viki) and have a ton of legal anime on here that you can stream. Availability does depend on country so unfortunately sometihng like Death Note (which we have) is only available in the USA, but others are available elsewhere.
I agree that saying your review was "worthless" was too far though, I'll chat with the commentor about that. I encourage you to continue posting reviews!
As for your original reply to my DN review, the same thing I'd offer to anyone (my review or anyone else's) is if you'd like to repost the comment with just the stuff about the anime / what you disagree with, you are welcome to (before I remove the orig one... we don't have a way to edit comments but are working on it!)
Also please let me know if you have any other site questions or comments ^_^
Might I remind you that trash talking reviewers themselves is disallowed on this site (for anyone, not just me), as we're pretty against bullying here. Totally fine to disagree with a review's content, and to post your own opinions, but not allowed to be a jerk to someone else because you disagree.
