Maybe she was different or better explained in the magna? Maybe Season 3 will turn it all around, but I read the wiki on her character and still couldn't find any justification or sympathy for her. All I know is that most all of the other 12 members of the zodiac had just as terrible parents, and were abused (by her). Yet none of them turned around and started abusing others. You can have a horrible childhood, however at a certain point you have to own your own mental health. Thats literally what Kyo and Yuki and others did. True it took time for them to grow,  but they didn't go around slashing eyeballs.
