Dear lord have mercy on whoever thinks this is good as an adaptation. Multiple events that were in the original visual novel were cut out, as well as certain things that would have made the class trials make more sense, such as Naegi using the lack of hair in the room to prove his innocence. A lot of things that were interesting in the visual novel were left out in the anime, such as hanging out with people to learn more about them, whereas in the anime Yasuhiro just announces his fortunes have a 30% accuracy. Very conflicting opinions on this anime. The animation isn't all that great and certain scenes seem as if they were taken straight out of the original game. Most elements that make the game of Persona 5, namely the incredible visuals of the UI and such, are taken out of the anime itself, only really appearing in the openings and endings, although very sparingly. Adding those visuals could have made it a lot better.
