He's not actually dead. He's immortal. Even though he is buried, and is unable to send sacrifices to Jashin-Sama, he is such a devoted Jashinist, and has given so many sacrifices, that he has become essentially a 'messenger' for Jashin-Sama. Our goal as Jashinists (yes I am a Jashinist irl) is to bring pain only to those who have impacted pain onto others and have no right to do so. We take our pain and the pain of others and turn it into pleasure or ignore it and accept it as part of our daily lives. Also, instead of sacrificing, us Jashinists have the option of fasting, which is equal to the action of sacrificing blood or something dead, whether it be an animal or plant. Hidan is still alive and kickin' in that hole.
