Nanbaka

Jan 7, 2018

Unlike most comedies where their is not really a developed plot and the comedy begins to dwindle or become overplayed throughtout the series, nanbaka is something that the comedy never failed to dissapoint each episode, and the anime also balanced out the way it took itself seriously when it needed to, the characters plots are well played, and still keeps u glued to the screen. Of course its animation isnt purely just serious, i like how its a comedy with an also serious vibe at times, and it doesnt keep dull colors, the colors are wacky and the character designs are fun. Each character has a past of how they ended up there, and it's just very fun to watch.

The 'unecessary sparkles' dont really bother u much when u watch it, and laugh and then also drop ur jaw or scream at the screen or even laugh to the point u almost fall out of ur chair or begin to choke. little details become invisible or irrelevant with a series so nice. We have that slight touch of 'magic' in a way, but i wouldnt really call the magic they use, well, magic. its more of devices n stuff. And the farther u get in the anime, it takes a serious turn but not enough to the point where its no longer comedy or u cant recognize it.

I must say, i truly enjoyed this series. Each character design is unique, and there will be that one character who's past is also a focus of the overall plot. However, i like how they give each character equal screen time, and they dont just stick to the escaping plot the whole time. Each character is given the appropriate amount of screen time, each character is developed in a appropirate time frame, and i just cant get enough of this series and the characters.

I highly recommend this!
