Alrighty regarding toradora, I watched this anime after watching a romance anime that was a bit on the sad side. However, that does not mean toradora was a sad anime as I would pretty much say it is rather lighthearted in my opinion. Deepness wise, I really did not get that vibe from this anime. Nevertheless, it does illustrate a love phenomenon that could occur in real life because at the end of the day you never know who you fall for while on the search for love. Moreover, this anime shows proves how love is not something we control by thinking rationally or logically. No matter what we do, it's needless to say that love is blind and you never know when it hits your heart.

Plot

Now enough with the philosophy behind the message that toradora tries to convey and let us get a bit technical. Plot wise, I felt it was slow to take off at the beginning. However, as you go on watching, the events start building up nicely and goes from comedy to drama pretty smoothly. Now tbh I don't feel like this anime is so climactic, but it has 2 or 3 scenes where the characters' emotions shine bright in front of you so that is not so bad. Yes you will wait a lot to get to these climactic events but don't worry I think you will build some kind of connection with the characters that will keep you going.

Animation & Music

Animation wise, I have personally seen better animation but toradora's animation is decent enough. Moving on to the music, I personally really liked the tracks, especially the sad-ish ones were very well done.

Final Remarks

All in all, toradora is light and a really good watch. Is there a new season? Uhm I don't think so tbh. I know some people say the ending was confusing but here's a remark....wait till after the credits! Wait and you will see it's not confusing at all. Do I recommend you watch it? Well, it's not my 1st place winner in romance but it definitely hits the top 5! So ye give it a shot it is pretty famous after all. Last but not least, my favorite character, which is Ami because she was smart and perceptive enough and she did not put on a clueless face in front of the others.
