I think I may be a bit biased during this review because tokyo ghoul was one of the first full manga I read and it has impacted my life so much, I  really can't give this manga enough praise, my experience with it was heart wrenching and to me this manga is irreplaceable. Of course i understand that it has flaws but to me it's perfect, it helped me cope with myself and for the first time in years it felt like I could really feel something, tokyo ghoul changed me, it gave me light when i was in a hole surrounded by darkness. I do believe that everyone has shows or manga or whatever that they hold above all else despite the flaws and to me that is tokyo ghoul. everything from sui Ishida's amazing art style to the incredible resonating theme and characters had me captured right from the beginning and forced me through this bizarre and emotional roller coaster through the suffering, sadness, hopelessness, and that small gleam of light of the tokyo ghoul series.

    I'm gonna say one thing and it's to not listen to the negative reviews or the positive ones, just pick up the manga and experience it for yourself, I doubt you'll have a bad time.
