Hello, and thanks. :P I've just taken to friending a few people to give me a few lists to trawl through when looking for more things to add to my "want to watch". And if someone has seen a lot of anime, and I'm not outright offended by their "won't watch" and "dropped" lists I'd say they're a good person to follow. :)
And yeah, I don't bother rating things cause I find it difficult to place things on a scale and would need to think far too deeply about the aspects of each show and then move them up and down accordingly for it to be worth the effort. And since my list is just for me to keep track, and I remember how I felt about things I watched, ratings don't particularly matter to me. There are far more experienced and learned people than I who would be able to give people a better idea of what is "good" and what isn't anyway, so I mostly keep my thoughts to myself.
And doesn't everyone love Roy Mustang?
My favourite anime is probably Cowboy Bebop, but there are many series I have truly loved. I have a short "best of what I've watched (TV)" list that covers it.
And lately I've been marathoning One Piece when I should be studying. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I wanted something long-running and light-hearted and it has been perfect for me. I think I've over-indulged though cause I couldn't be bothered continuing last night and instead am taking a break from anime. I have taken up watching Elementary instead.

Beating the eroticism of the toothbrush episode will probably be something that can't be achieved in years to come XD
I finish up 2006 atm, I truely enjoyed "Nana". The manga is unfortunately on hiatius since some years, I will still probably make this my first straight shojou manga I buy. I was also amazed by the most brutal Magical girl ever: "Magical Witch Punie-chan", and "Bartender" made me want to check out my local cocktail-bar to learn about the soul-soothing power of alcohol first hand XD
Not sure about the quality of this season though, I watch the sport shows and so far they are decent, Ippo because he makes boxing exciting, Ace because baseball is exciting in anime and Pedal is suprisingly funny but because I watched Overdrive a little while ago and that show was tremendously awful I'm not so sure if I can sit though this until the end.
Little Busters, Gingitsune, Kill La Kill, Galilei Donna, Beyound the Boundary and Samurai Flamenco are the shows with a lot of potential imo, unfortunately they haven't convinced me yet though.
The shows I enjoy the most is Nagi no Asukara. I am a PA Works fanboy XD, while I enjoyed last seasons "The ecentric family", this is probably their best work since Hanasaku Iroha. I loved it from the first minutes, beautiful animation, cute girls and sweet romance, what more could you hope for?
