ya, one of these days I'll get around to buying them but just not in the books for now.
looking at your list I was nodding in agreement right up until NGE and TTGL... I'm generally despised for my vehement dislike of those two titles, I won't get into it since they're obviously well liked by many other people and frankly a lot (most) of that list I've seen and could say I enjoyed.
I have to agree with you on Brotherhood... at first I was confused as to why they felt the need to redo the whole story when FMA was pretty much awesome already when you included the movie as part of the whole package but once I started it the slight and extreme changes made floored me. I was utterly amazed that they were able to improve on an already stellar show.
I hadn't even heard of Figure 17 before, looks interesting enough to give it a shot so I'll start checking around, see if I can't find a decent copy somewhere.
I have plans to but funds limit my carrying them out. I want to at least get my top 5-10 anime DVDs to start with, then I'll move on to the ghlibi movies I like, which is just about all of them at this point >.> ya my viewing is limited to torrents and streams right now.
I don't really use youtube very much, almost never tbh, the odd vid that gets sent to me or a new song I heard on the radio I really liked once in a blue moon but other than that I tend to spend my time elsewhere.
So I guess at nearly 8 months viewed you've probably been watching anime for a rather long time, any you'd consider favorites?
