Hey I'm Jon and I got into anime sometime in 2010, don't really remember specifically when but yeah somewhere late that year. First shows I started were Bleach and Code Geass, Samurai Champloo being the first I completed. Never really kept track of how many shows I watched until I was in the 200's so I can't really put down which one was my 100th and 200th but;
300th show I watched: Only Yesterday. Was bouncing back and forth on whether or not I should pirate it but my sister bought it and I just happened to be approaching my 300th show so it was the perfect excuse to watch it and boy was it a good one!
400th show I watched: Promare. Really liked this movie! It also happened to be my 400th anime watched so perfect timing with it being another anime movie that I really like!
500th show I watched: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean. I love the series, sorta funny that it ended up being the 500th show that I've seen.
The big stuff that influenced my enjoyment of anime started when I was a kid and watched a crap ton of Pokemon, Digimon, Yu Gi Oh (not knowing of course all three were from Japan at the time), and almost every Disney movie in their library. There is also the fact that I played quite a bit of Kingdom Hearts which possesses a mix of the anime style, JRPG style, and disney style of asthetic.

I noticed that you made a recommendation recently, I am helping out getting more people like you to recommend for current season anime as well as previous ones (Plus manga if that is what you are interested in) . Thank you for you help by making the recommendation in the first place. And as a member of the forum recommendation club, I would love if you could help me.

We had to remove all previous twitter setups to activate the feature, so you may have noticed a 'lost twitter badge'. To re-set it up, just go to 'edit profile' and use the new 'sign in with twitter' button. Once you do, you can also opt-in (it's opt-out by default!) to automatically tweet when you do stuff on the site, like mark anime or add recommendations. If you just 'sign in' without opting in to any settings, it'll be just like before, and your feed will once again show on your profile homepage :)
